OUR BACKGROUND

Accel-KKR is an independent private equity firm focused on providing capital to growing technology companies. The firm was originally formed over a decade ago by Accel Partners, a leading venture capital firm, and KKR, a global asset manager, though over time the firm has evolved into an autonomous firm that has raised a family of funds with approximately $1 billion of capital.

Although Accel-KKR is separate and distinct from either Accel or KKR, the firm maintains very good relationships with both firms and values their historical contributions to Accel-KKR’s success.
